How To Install Google Analytics Prestashop

Recently I setup a Prestashop installation. After much fighting with this software it came time to install Google Analytics for the site. Here are the steps I’ve taken to set this up:
1: Login to your admin panel
2: Choose the ‘Modules’ section
3: Type ‘Google’ into the search bar. Prestashop comes with a Google Analytics plugin by default, so choose the plugin from the search results and click install.
4: Once this is installed, ‘Enable’ the plugin.
5: This is now enabled but you need to add your Google Analytics ID to the site. There should be a ‘Configure’ link at this point. You will need to enter what the plugin calls a ‘Username’ but is actually your Analytics ID. If you’re unsure of what this is, the format is similar to this: UA-28727434-1
6: Click ‘Save’ at the bottom.

In order to verify this is working, visit your Prestashop installation and right click -> view source. You should see your Analytics ID in the head section of your site.

I hope this helps! If anyone has questions or needs screenshots, feel free to leave a comment.
